About GSFMA

About Company

The Golden State Farmers Market Association (GSFMA) is a 501(c)(3) public charity classified under section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. We organize farmers markets across California and work directly with farmers to bring fresh, locally sourced food to communities.

Through a combination of on-the-ground market operations and the use of technology, our mission is to enhance the food system, improve access to fresh food, and create a more efficient, equitable approach to food distribution that’s accessible to all.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to expand food access and promote community wellness through vibrant, community-centered farmers markets and health-driven programs.
